Radical Law Making

The Millennial Generation

In my genaration we abide by law set down for us by the generation of Baby Boomers and Gen X and becuase of this we have begun to prosper like never before. My generation are those born between 1977-1997 and we are known as the Millennial Generation. I want to share some insight on how great my generation has become due to the wonderful efforts of our families and lawmakers throughout the country.

In a span of about 40 years we have become more accepting of other races since the "white" population has gone from 88% to a mere 67%. And those of us with Highschool education are at an all time high of 87% with a whopping 64% seeking out a post secondary schooling. Over 52% of all Millennials believe that their first and formeost duty is to be a good parent. And being the best parent out there is what my next section is going to be about.

Prosecution Towards Pregnant Women

First of all the reason I felt it neccessary to share about my generation is to give you more insight into what is now happening becuase of lawmakers today. In some states like Georgia, Mississippi, and Alabama specifically, any women who have a miscarriage, stillbirth, or any other "interesting" circumstances their child was born under will be held in an investigation to ensure that everything that had happened was "natural" and not drug induced. There have been several women that have already been convicted of drug use and the murder of their stillborn child. They serve Life sentences and still deny all charges.

These women are being taken away from their children for very little reason. With my generation we were improving. And now with these new laws we will begin to see radical changes in a bad direction. In these same places and a few others there are talks about making contraceptives illegal, abortions becoming illegal regardless of medical emergencies, rape, or incest. Without birth control we will see an increase of pregnancies unlike ever before, we will see an increase in Sexually Transmitted Diseases as well. For these unwanted pregnancies and lack of contraceptives we will be seeing an increase in orphaned children, foster care will see a huge increase. On top of everything we will be seeing mothers going to jail if their children aren't born alive. Who can say what the human body can handle? Who says the loss of an unborn or any child is not enough punishment enough? These lawmakers may be trying to use these laws for the good of the rest, but the way these laws can be abused is most terrifying when the effects are given to you like this.
